In Cassiopeia Grail, a middle-aged doctor finds adventure and danger when it is discovered that he has candid photos of Adolf Hitler taken by a personal photographer during World War II. Jewish Nazi hunters approach the doctor to find the photographer and the doctor sees this as his chance to fulfill his dream of returning to his early life and friends in Europe.

However, the doctor finds himself the prey instead of the hunter as he realizes he is being closely watched and followed. Tracking the photographer while evading the hunters leads the doctor into entanglements and adventures. Upon his return home to the United States, the journey does not end as the doctor discovers more involvement in the story in the United States Government.
